Today is a good day!

I am excited to end 2010 and get ready for 2011!! I wake up each day with a new beginning. I never get tired of doing my favorite things each day?

In 2011 I am going to build a bucket list. I want to learn to stretch and think outside the box with what I want to accomplish. I want to realize that anything is possible so get creative and build the list!

I want to find friends that like to get outdoors and have the same interests that I do. I like to hike, golf, exercise, relax, volunteer, inspire, create, and spend time with my family.

Always believe in the Good Lord Ways!

Today's Hike

Today a friend and I hiked the McDowell Mountains.  The name of the hike was Lost Dog Wash to Taliesin Overlook.  There were about 20 of us hiking.  The hike elevation was only 400 ft but the length of the hike was 4.4 miles making for a great workout.

Life Lessons

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.
 - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I have learned to take each day one step at a time.  If you keep the faith and trust in God then all will workout.  Don't worry about the problems that come your way.  Work through them and believe that the trouble is just making you stronger.

Jessica's Kindergarten Graduation

Jessica was so proud of her graduation day!  Looks like to me she was the star graduate.  All the others just sat back and watched.

Here is Jessica still studying very hard in school.  Boys,  see your mom did homework and enjoyed school.  Hope you do to!

Another Rainy Day

I thought the sun was suppose to out today. It started raining again, so looks like another day of stying inside and working out all day. Hope the long workouts shock my metabolism into working again.

My backyard is trashed from all of the rain.  I raked and cleaned my yard last weekend.  Looks like next weekend when I have all of my helpers over we can do yard work.

Make a Difference Today!

Rain day

I decided to make yesterday a fitness day and try all of those workout tapes I don't get around to.  It was one of my best days.  I worked out the first half of the day, watched a movie and cleaned my house.  I didn't go out until after the rain stopped about 5:30p.

Rainy Day

Yesterday was not a promising day for a hike. We don't have many rain days in Arizona so why does it need to be on a Saturday? I knew immediately that the day would not include outdoor activities.
